Book Review: Mona Lisa’s Secret by Phil Philips.

In ‘Mona Lisa’s Secret’, Phil Philips has produced an outstanding novel that deserves widespread recognition.
If I could give this book more than five stars, I would.

This novel delivers a fast-paced, adrenaline-filled adventure that is reminiscent of a James Bond or Jason Bourne blockbuster, centred on historical mystery instead of espionage. It has plenty of heart-in-your-throat moments that keep the reader completely enthralled until the very last page.

The premise of this novel revolves around Da Vinci’s famous painting, touching on mysteries that have intrigued people for centuries. Philips has capitalised on this fascination in the development of this original and highly exciting story.

The construction of complex and gripping plot lines and multiple strong characters with both intelligence and initiative keeps the pages turning, as the reader is keen to find resolution and answers as the story progresses.

In the light of perhaps inevitable questions and comparisons, it’s important to note that this story is very different and, in my opinion, superior to Dan Brown’s ‘The Da Vinci Code’.

In ‘Mona Lisa’s Secret’, Phil Philips has produced an outstanding novel that deserves widespread recognition.

If I could give this book more than five stars, I would.
